Dr Antonio Tijero has a degree in Chemistry from Complutense University of Madrid, specializing in Materials Science and Technology, since 2001. PhD by the Chemical Engineering Program at Complutense University of Madrid in 2006. He is co-originator of an international patent related to the diminishments of environmental impacts in the production of pulp and paper. In 2002, he conducted a stay in The Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada, Quebec. He has participated in more than eighteen national and international environment-related projects, ranging from climate change to development of new  lignocellulosic materials and wastewater treatments. He has been conducting his teaching activities as a Complutense University of Madrid professor in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and Food Science and Technology. He has been participating as a lecturer in the Environmental, Industrial and Food Biotechnology M.Sc. at Pablo Olavide University (Seville) in the last few years and has been visiting professor at several Latin American universities. He has authored articles in international scientific and technical journals, and presented works at international conferences related to pulp and paper, waste management, water treatment and green chemistry. He has worked with several energy companies in different environmental related projects from 2005 and has also worked as an independent consultant in environmental processes from 2012. 

Rocío Jarabo, Titulada Superior Contratada del Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja (CSIC), en el Departamento de Construcción, Grupo de Gestión de Riesgo y Seguridad. Doctora en Ciencias Químicas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid en el 2012. Las principales líneas de Investigación en las que ha trabajado son: Implementación de metodologías de protección frente a la corrosión para extender la vida útil de estructuras de hormigón; Optimización de la materia prima de procesos de producción de fibrocemento a través de la floculación; Aprovechamiento de residuos agrícolas como materias primas alternativas (fibras celulósicas); Tecnología del medio ambiente; Producción limpia de papel reciclado. Ha participado en diversos proyectos tanto de Organismos Públicos pertenecientes al Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad; proyectos de la Comunidad de Madrid; proyectos Europeos y proyectos con empresas privadas como Unión Fenosa y Tolsa. Todo ello avalado por publicaciones en revistas de reconocido prestigio a nivel Internacional así como la participación en congresos Internacionales.
